Hi there! I’m Sylvester, a problem solver and space executive by day, and an aspiring deep tech investor by night. I love big ideas, changing the world, and inspiring others. I also enjoy disrupting established industries and challenging the status quo.

I’m on a mission to create my own path in business and in life. I write because it allows me to think, create images in my mind, and build a vision. The mind has no limits, and it’s the visionaries who have changed the world. Writing helps me tap into my potential and think in new and creative ways.
On my blog, I write about leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and emerging technologies from the perspective of an executive, investor, and board member. I also cover the space and science sectors, and the culture of technology. I believe that collaboration between industry, governments, and science is key to advancing humanity and technology, improving productivity, and enhancing the quality of life.
In addition to my regular blog posts, I sometimes write opinion pieces that offer a fresh perspective on timely and newsworthy topics. I draw on my personal experiences as an engineer, scientist, C-suite, entrepreneur, board advisor, and investor to provide insights and stories about the challenges and rewards of starting a tech business. My writing covers a range of topics, including behavior and case studies, stories of success and failure, and the good, bad, and ugly aspects of building a product and a business. I hope to inspire others to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams. If you’re interested in learning more about my thoughts and experiences, follow me on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to stay up to date. I look forward to connecting with you!
I believe that life is all about learning and growth. I challenge myself and push my boundaries to improve and learn. I look for ways to expand my knowledge and skills, whether through formal education or life experiences. According to British philosopher, Alan Watts, life cannot be a journey as “It doesn’t have some destination that it ought to arrive at.“
Helen Keller said that “life is either a great adventure, or it’s nothing at all,” and I’m learning that it takes effort to live an adventurous life. I’m dedicated to making the most of it.
I’m proud and privileged that my work is featured and recommended by media outlets. It’s an honor to share my insights with a wider audience.
“Writing is both a process of doing critical thinking and a product communicating the results of critical thinking” – John Charles Bean, PhD
